Competitions Coordinator (x4)

Lancashire RFU and Cheshire RFU are looking for enthusiastic and organised volunteers to become Age-Grade Competition Coordinators for our Girls competitions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering positive rugby experiences for hundreds of young players across Lancashire and Cheshire while helping clubs provide enjoyable, well-organised and competitive rugby opportunities.

Working alongside the Lancashire and Cheshire CB Age-Grade Leads, Competition Coordinators will oversee a specific age group competition, acting as the main point of contact for participating clubs throughout the season.

What You'll Do

As a Competition Coordinator, you will:

• Coordinate and administer competitions within a designated age group

• Support clubs throughout the season.

• Manage calendar changes and result recording.

• Respond to club queries and help resolve issues.

• Support positive communication between participating clubs.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of girls rugby in Lancashire and Cheshire.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to be a rugby expert, but we are looking for people who are:

• Organised and reliable.

• Good communicators.

• Comfortable using email, excel and WhatsApp.

• Passionate about supporting young people in rugby.

• Able to work collaboratively with clubs and volunteers.

• Experience in age-grade rugby, club administration or competition management would be beneficial but is not essential.


Competitions Manager (x2)

Lancashire RFU and Cheshire RFU are looking for enthusiastic and organised volunteers to become Age-Grade Competition Manager for our Girls competitions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering positive rugby experiences for hundreds of young players across Lancashire and Cheshire while helping clubs provide enjoyable, well-organised and competitive rugby opportunities.

Working alongside the Lancashire and Cheshire CB Age-Grade Leads, Competitions Managers will produce a calendar of competitions for Age-Grade girls.

What You’ll do

• Work alongside Age Grade representatives to produce a calendar of events for U12s, 14s, 16s and 18s girls in Lancashire and Cheshire that aligns to the Age Grade Structured season.

• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the offer for girls is fit for purpose and inclusive, providing opportunities to grow and compete.

• Work in partnership with clubs and CB to facilitate conversations regarding the growth and needs of the girl’s game.

• Support Competition Coordinators in the correct administration and running of all age grade girls’ competitions, ensuring clubs are adhering to competition rules and NGB guidance (GMS registrations, electronic match cards, relevant qualifications).
