Lancashire Women will begin their 2026 Gill Burns Championship campaign on Sunday 10th May when they face Northumberland Women at Firwood Waterloo in a 2pm Kick Off.

On the same afternoon, with our community gathered at the Memorial Ground, we’ll also be recognising nominated rugby volunteers from across the county.
So this seems a perfect opportunity to share a link to an album of match action images of the previous encounter between Lancashire and Northumberland Women, played at Souhpoort RFC in May 2022, captured by volunteer photographer Angus Matheson. We thank Angus for his generosity in making the images downloadable for a limited time and we hope they help to stir up enthusiasm and passion for the upcoming Championship games.
