Congratulations to the following Lancashire U18 Girls, who have been selected for the England Rugby U18 Girls North PDG.

Evie Mae Cowen (Eccles)
Olyssa Cruise (Burnley)
Niamh Hamer (Burnley)
Iyla Mae McEvoy (Eccles)
Rose McIntyre (Fylde)
Isabella Molloy (Eccles)
Evie Williams (Manchester)

The U18 North Player Development Group squad (assembled from the North West Helen Clayton PDG, North East Sarah Hunter PDG and Yorkshire Karen Almond PDG) will come together for additional training sessions throughout the season. The Girls will all continue to play for their clubs and schools. Selection for England will be based on their potential to progress over the next 12 months.

For those players not selected at this time, it is important to remember that this isn’t the end of the journey, and we encourage all players to stay involved in rugby through their community club, school or college and the Lancashire County U18 programme. The door will always be open for re-assessment should they develop.

Further news of Lancashire County Girls representative honours will be announced in due course.
