This Sunday 7th December we have a double whammy of Lancashire rugby with both our U18s and U18s Girls in action. If you want to see the future senior talent of the county, the full fixture details are published below.  All support is welcomed. 


Following squad nomination, selection* and training in November, the Lancashire U18 Girls will open their campaign at Lymm RFC this Sunday 7th December when they face Cheshire U18 Girls, in a 2.30pm Kick Off.  Caitlin Greatbatch (Manchester) will Captain the team, with Rugby Tarling (Eccles) and Orla Cahill (Eccles) appointed Vice-Captains. 

*Players from Lancashire Clubs and Schools/Colleges are eligible for selection. Players attached to Premiership Academies and the England Rugby U18 Girls North Player Development Group (PDG) are not eligible for selection. Following county nominations and trials in October, and selection* in November, the Lancashire U18 Male squad sigalled their intent with a 34-0 triumph over Durham two weeks ago. This Sunday 7th December, in thier second outing of the season, the lads will face Northumberland U18s, at Preston Grasshoppers RFC, in a 3.00pm kick off. 

*Players from Lancashire Clubs and Schools/Colleges are eligible for selection. Players attached to Premiership Academies are not eligible for selection. Following the completion of  3 County Games some players may be invited to attend the England Rugby North U18 Assessment and, if successful, will get the chance to play against the other 3 RFU Divisions (London, Midlands and the South West) in the New Year.  For more information on the team and thier fixtures email Team Manager Gavin Butterworth Lancashire U18 Team Manager
